Big babies Everyone likes - and needs - to be pampered from time to time. But the grown men in photographer Polly Borland's book 'The Babies' (published by PowerHouse Books, £35, available in December from all good bookshops) take the concept to an extreme. Polly spent time snapping 'infantilists' - grown men whose fetish is to dress like a giant baby - and her book which "begins like the sweetest of lullabies, seducing us into a sense of lovely baby life... until about page 12" is full of truck drivers, accountants and teachers dressed as infants. Many of the men had "suffered as children and were left obsessed with the warmth and care experienced by other infants and toddlers" so they recreate that lost feeling of warmth and care, by powdering their bottoms, wearing nappies, frilly party frocks, satin bonnets and sucking on dummies.
