Pop 2000Is your idea of heaven being under the same roof as Billie Piper, Sclub7 or Atomic Kitten? Having the chance to record your own song and learn some moves with band choreographers? Then your prayers have been answered when Pop 2000 turns the Birmingham NEC into a " melting pot of all things pop" between 17-19 November. This debut Pop 2000 event is "dedicated to pop culture and all its components" covering music, career opportunities, pop technology, fashion, shopping and style. Kicking off with an education day, offering advice on job opportunities in the industry, there will also be activities hosted by Atomic Kitten and Boyzone's Keith Duffy. Select Model agency and pop industry scouts will also be on the look out for the next Billie Piper or Erin O'Connor during the weekend. As well as belting out your fav karaoke numbers on stage you can flaunt your funky stuff in Club Tiser and get made-over by celebrity stylists. Ticket hotline 0121 767 4911 (tickets from £8-12). |
