Canine comeback When Sony launched its 'Aibo' electronic dogs in June 1999, the loveable canines were sold out within 20 minutes. Now, all those who missed out have been given a second chance because the company has created a new and improved version. The affectionately named ERS-210 (priced £1,500) now comes with a digital camera fitted in its nose, it can express an impressive total of six emotions and the cheeky bionic beast can even wiggle its ears. Although the '2nd Generation Aibo' isn't up for sale yet, hopefuls can log onto the website and sign up to make sure that they'll be the first to know when it's available.
