Counter editions Buying contemporary art remains an exclusive preserve for a wealthy few. But the newly launched Counter Editions aims to change all of that and make contemporary art accessible to a much wider audience. Leading international artists - including Gillian Wearing, Tracey Emin, Chris Ofili and Gary Hume - have been commissioned to produce one new piece of work, either a print or photo, to be sold exclusively on the Counter Editions website. Produced in multiples of 300 and starting from £295, highlights include Chris Ofili's glow in the dark lithographic print, Gillian Wearing's 'My Man' - a colour portrait of a teenage girl - and Tracey Emin's 'Dog Brains' lithograph from her most recent selection of work.
