DJ BertieBertie Bassett, the famous Liquorice Allsorts character, is dumping his walking stick and donning earphones instead. To attract streetwise kids, Bertie is having an image change from jolly English gent to club DJ. Bertie will soon be seen mixing and dancing on packets of Allsorts and rumour has it he'll even be releasing a dance record this summer. But will clubbers abandon their previous sweets of choice - lollipops - for granny's favourite liquorice and will we soon see the Werther's Original's man breakdancing? Clubbers can probably relate to Allsort's most famous advertising slogan, though - 'one too many and you'll turn Bertie'. |
