Its Housecheck print is 25 years old and DAKS have invited fashion students from the Royal College of Art to give the check a 21st century make over. The students' brief means they can dream up an outfit, either menswear or womenswear, with the objective of attracting a younger DAKS customer. The Housecheck's distinctive black and camel colour combo must remain, otherwise students can enlarge, diminish or print on the check. The 12 winning outfits will be previewed at the RCA's end of year shows. DAKS hasn't decided if winning outfits will go into production.
