Lucky beggar

This peculiar looking purse started off as an exhibit in a New York art gallery, although its origins reach back to the street. Creator George Skelcher noticed how 'panhandlers', or beggars, in Manhattan used flattened paper coffee cups to gather loose change. Skelcher's coffee cups are almost the real McCoy but come in leather and have a zip lid. The Lucky Beggar Purse costs $25 and can be ordered from here. Part of the proceeds go towards helping homelessness.
