There were also some outfits by Samantha Noble, a fashion student who is profoundly deaf and believes "her disability has made her work harder to communicate through her creativity rather than through speech." Behind the cheerful atmosphere there was the serious message - personal expression and fashion should be for everyone. The event was organised by Artsline, London's information and advice service on arts and entertainment for disabled people.
