The Savage suite Fashion designer Karen Savage is about to design a hotel suite in her own inimitable style. The woman dubbed 'Queen of kitsch' has been asked by Brighton's Hotel Pelirocco (10 Regency Square Brighton: tel 01273 327055, email: info@hotelpelirocco.co.uk) to give a room the complete Savage treatment. Other Pelirocco rooms are being designed by a diverse range of talents including artist Jamie Reid, popster Bobby Gillespie and clubland's Lenny Beige. From May, guests will also be able to book into a homage to Betty Page, Sputnik (a space age creation) and Betterism ("a glittery new social movement).
