The sound of DieselIf the name Joanna Zychowicz doesn't sound familiar, don't be alarmed. It soon will, according to Diesel. As well as using Joanna as the main character in its current ad campaign, Diesel is sponsoring the launch of Joanna's singing career. The label has plans for the 22-year-old Polish born to become a global singing sensation with her brand of 'country pop'. There's even a website dedicated to her www.joannafanclub.com. Joanna's debut ditty is called 'Dirty Country Girl', on which she sings about not liking Kung Fu fighters but loving stinky socks. It's all done in the best possible taste, dovetailing nicely with the re-opening of Diesel's flagship store in Covent Garden at the beginning of March. |
