Product 250 Product 250 - reads like a mysterious ingredient in a bad sci-fi movie experiment. It's actually the name of a happening T-shirt outfit. After a chance meeting in an East London pub, Luke McLean and Justin Taylor pooled their talents to create the ambiguously monickered Product 250. Their diverse backgrounds (Luke was designer for Supergrass, Justin worked with a tailor) combine to create designs with instant cult appeal. The Manic Street Preachers, Gomez and Death in Vegas, are numbered in the Product 250 fan base. For summer, Luke and Justin have been inspired by graffitti-style flyers and fanzines from US punk bands. Cut and paste techniques, scribbles and slogans result in T-shirts with an anarchic allure.
