Rising star Brit designer Sheila Maloney is the new kid on the block at the upcoming London Fashion Week. The Oldham-born designer, who is an ex-Middlesex and Central St Martin's student has been awarded the M&S New Generation Award by the British Fashion Council. After graduating in spring 1999, her collection was snapped-up by Whistles and she now divides her time between designing her own collection and controlling the UK production for Italian manufacturer, Apprhodo. Oh, and she used to work for Hussein Chalayan. This girl's crudentials are A1 in fashion land and she's only 29.
