Called the Secret Garden, Emily's womenswear collection for Summer 2002, "is pretty much finished with just a few buttons to sew on". Inspired by "hiding places in the garden...... a child-like feeling of adventure." The collection is also influenced by the way houses are furnished and is made entirely from furnishing fabrics, donated by furnishing companies Jane Churchill and Osborne & Little, as well as Liberty who supplied Tana Lawn prints for linings, Emily says, "I wanted to take the fabrics outdoors, so although the fabrics are stiff, they are wearable too". To complement her collection's summery pinks, greens, cream florals and gingham, Emily is styling models to look as if they have been "pulled through a hedge backwards, but looking good with it. My models will look childlike as if they've just been in the garden, with messy hair".

Looking forward to having her collection seen by the press and possible future employers, Emily is keeping her options open and "wants to get some fashion industry experience. "I want to work within a design company doing something creative. I'm not very good sitting at a computer. Ultimately I would love to start my own company."
