OK the label was launched back in the 1940s by a tennis player, but Fred Perry has always been loved and worn by footie fans and terrace casuals. This season they've got some beautiful Tricot Track Jackets (£44) in great shades including a moody light blue and a dark blood red. Understated and on target. There are also well nice Ringer T-shirts (£20) for female fans. | ![]()

PF specialises in creating cool tops which chart the philosophy of football. There are some cracking shirts here: Harold Wilson's 'Have you noticed how we only win the World Cup under a Labour government?' is a sound World Cup choice. There's also a 32 strips shirt, and the Every Game Has Its Own story 5-1 shirt featuring "beautifully crafted diagrams of all the famous five England goals, plus the token German effort." But top of the philosophy pops is the logo-free tribute to "the best England strip since 66" featuring a running man on the front and England 02 on the back. And best of all, these T's cost just £16.99. | ![]()

The recent campaign to get Triumph to stop manufacturing the military controlled Burma was successful - the Swiss company suffered a severe loss of face. Now it's pinning its publicity hopes on a limited edition run of 100 Hat tricks - a bra and pants set. Hideous, horrible and hanging are three words beginning with H which describe lingerie-makers Triumph's tribute to The World Cup. The bra cups are covered with netting and the padding is patterned to look like a soccer ball. The matching 'shorts' feature an embroidered image of a goalkeeper catching a ball. Luckily, they're only available to buy in Japan (for $130). This effort warrants a red card - no argument. | ![]()

Hooligan
A German clothing label for footie fans called Hooligan. Gawd blimey. The website even claims it's "the home of football". And if all this isn't dodgy enough, just take a butchers at the gear, it's criminally bad. They've nicked the Anfield anthemn 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and plastered it across sweat shirts and T-shirts (43 Euros). There's also Home Of Football T-shirts (30 Euros) and scary shiny 'Wembley' jackets (99 Euros). Avaiable to buy online http://www.hooligan.de - but who cares! | ![]()
