Classic menswear is Margaret Howell's signature and this autumn/winter collection offers a sophisticated range of tailored pieces with modern detailing. Howell opted to show her latest collection to a select gathering at her Savile Row shop. In suits, lapels are narrow, shoulders are soft and edges feature delicate visible stitching. Lambswool and wool serge are used to create subtle pinstripe and herringbone suits in navy and charcoal greys. Outerwear is sporty with sailing-style jackets featuring oversized pockets and drawstring waists. Luxurious leather and sheepskin appears in blouson zip-through jackets and long length coats. Chunky knits complete the look and again, softness and quality are key features with delicate pieces in lambswool and cashmere.
