D. A. Lilliard

D. A. Lilliard (or Derek to his mates) is a music industry stylist whose clients include Jazzy B and the Pasadenas. He launched his own label in 1985 and has since developed an international reputation for bespoke 'tailoring with-a-twist'. His latest collection, 'Glamorama', consists of suits, suits and more suits!

Think street-wise gentleman or guv'nor in clean cut double-breasted three-piece suits that flash vibrant linings of orange, reds and pinks, under heavy sheepskin coats and you've got the Lilliard look. Eloquent silhouettes with hard edges let down their guard for a moment when Peacock blue makes a dramatic entrance on to the catwalk. Subtle pinstripes, intricate finishes, glistening fitted shirts, matching ties and slim-legged trousers help the transition from contemporary daywear to night-time glamour. Large checks, irridescent fabrics and decadent velvet are all worn with attitude.
