All Saints

Now on their 9th collection, All Saints have refined their streetwear to combine constructed tailoring and high-comfort sportswear. The show featured both menswear and womenswear, but next season's womenswear outshines menswear! Themes of survival, protection, warmth and luxury run throughout both lines. Industrial baggy and urban cool are the key looks. 'Riot gear' appears in the form of high collar jackets, balaclava hooded cagoules and glazed cotton para parkas. Zip pants, wide leg drawstrings, and comfy fleece trousers with matching zip jackets are staple items. For the girls, floor length high collar coats, shiny leather jackets worn with straight skirts and wedge boots, all contribute to a slick coloumned silhouette. To contrast, petticoat skirts and waterproof cagouls in industrially coated crinkle fabric and fur-trimmed parka dresses add a touch of utilitarian chic. The use of block colours in black, anthracite, charcoal gray, indigo, winter white and red-brown complements this understated and practical collection.
