After the excitment of the Paul Smith show courtesy cars sped across London back to the West Lawn tent to witness John Rochas latest offering. Layering and distressing of fabric play a large part whilst the earthy tones hold the collection together. Evening dresses, sloppy long-sleeve tops and large quirky pleated skirts are key features, however, the highlight has to be the skirt suits. Short jackets and long skirts with side splits are relaxed but immaculately finished. Styling was wholesome, bare faces and unevenly crimped hair added to the whole vibe of the show. As usual the collection went down a treat and Johns appearence on the catwalk was greeted with impressed applause.
