Bella Freud

Bella Freud is renown for her feminine knitwear and sharp tailoring. For this collection she fuses together a multitude of influences and styles to create an eclectic mix of outfits that bear little relation to each other. A bodysuit emblazoned with stars, appears alongside 70s style pinstripe suits and spaghetti strap dresses which are either opaque and bold, or plain black and transparent. Some dresses feature freaky frilled hemlines, and striped suits were shown with dramatic hats that wouldn't have looked out of place at Ascot. Other influences include the ocean (a 'fisherman's net' dress) and skate culture (a pair of huge baggy jeans). Colours leapt from olive green and lilac to dark brown, and then to vibrant shades of purple, pink and yellow.
