Suzanna Burgess This is Suzanna's second London Fashion Week showing and her last collection (also off-schedule) impressed the audience with its luxurious, loungy feel. This season Suzanna has created a collection of fun, girly clothes in lush satins and silks. Perhaps a French maid meets a Flamenco-loving tomboy and they fall in love. 50s style skirts with an enormous tea cup print appear alongside a juicy red backless dress and see-through halter neck mini dress worn with pearls. Very sexy sailor pants are worn with blouson tops, bow details add a feminine touch to skirts and trousers. There are hints of the 20s and 40s in the long lush gathered gown in peach. There's a strong, fun feeling behind these clothes and there is a freshness and a sense of humour here that informs her work. |
