Roksanda Ilincic Roksanda Ilincic showed her spring/summer 2004 collection at her Kings Cross home. The audience sat on benches inside the conservatory as models walked along the decked garden punctuated with bamboo and grasses and then entered the house. This is Belgrade-born Roksanda's fourth showing (she's shown twice as part of Fashion East) and although off-schedule, this is her most dramatic and accomplished collection to date. Roksanda has developed a unique style - Eastern European motifs and rich-hued peasant dresses are just two key themes. This season, there are some exquisite details in her clothes - especially at the backs of outfits. Transparent black lounge pants with cuffed bottoms appear with a sexy off-the-shoulder black silky top, a tweeny black mini dress with a plunging neckline and blue collar detail, white open neck puff sleeve dress with a huge black love-heart across the waist, a black thigh length dress with puff sleeves that just touches the thigh - these are just some of the higlights. This is Roksanda's sexiest collection yet, with revealing necklines, hemlines, transparent fabrics and bandeau dresses with love heart details on the neckline. |
