Once upon a time Uth was known as Jigsaw Menswear, but its catwalk show at the Royal Opera House has removed any connotations of the high street. Uth's models flew down the catwalk to the pumping beat of 80s hits by Michael Jackson and The Clash without pausing for the photographers. The womenswear is clearly 80s inspired with pastel shades, blouson-style tops and drainpipe trousers. Off-shoulder baggy jumpers, batwing sleeves and splits continue the 80s theme whilst the colour combinations, including pink and navy are powerful and punchy. There are also 70s touches with nude and brown shades, spirograph and chevron patterns in louche, slinky shapes. Denim also features heavily with large turn-ups and braces for the boys. Menswear also includes 'The Italian Job' Camp Freddy suits with cravats in pale colours.
