Elements of the Hollywood set before the talkies, languid Cote d'Azur summer holidays taken by the rich elite of the 1920s and Flapper girl style are all present in Sheila Maloney's spring/summer collection. Entitled 'Domestic Science', the range features elegant eveningwear: wispy, concertina pleated skirts, tie blouses and dresses with butterfly sleeves. Much of the collection is inspired by 1920s swimwear and features sassy two piece bandeau and skirt, blouses and pedal pusher combinations. Highlights include a kimono suit and shimmering black dresses. It's a breezy, unrestrictive collection with gentle colours (white, black, lemon, sage, powder blue and pink) and soft tailoring.
