Although PPQ cites the 60s 'nouveau riche holiday wardrobe' as the inspiration behind the 'Delusions of Grandure' collection, the clothes also have a suspicious similarity to those worn in the magical 80s era. Fabrics include cheesecloth, light mohair, metallic lace and pleated leather in shades of pastel pink, lemon yellow, mint, peach, navy blue and red. Hot pants, track suit tops, sweaters with one shoulder and light cocktail dresses all appear in the range, which has a fresh, preppie feel to it. A couple of sultry strapless numbers, plaited leather belts and beach bags also complement the collection's theme.
