Tracy Mulligan's collection entitled 'Something Old, Something New' is a mixture of 40s D-mob style pieces, peasant smocks and 80s A-line skirt suits - think Wrens from Mars. Beige tailored trousers feature thin double belts, there are cream tea dresses with flower prints and pleated skirts with one side stopping at the thigh whilst the other reaches the ankle. Ruching appears on the sleeves of smock tops, on jacket sleeves and on the shoulders of dresses and tops. Menswear includes some great collarless shirts with raw seams and flaps across the shoulders. Suiting is slouched and comfy with lightweight bondage trousers and elbow holes cut into sleeves. Denim pieces include a long backless dress and an ultra functional shift dress with white flower prints - perfect for Ireland's denim poppets B*Witched, two of whom were in the audience.
