Piras' off-piste show had a clear statement - everything must go. His collection defies the current trend for fuss and frills and instead suggests a steady return to minimalism. No badges, buttons, bows or beads in sight, just knee-length baggy dresses and V-neck blouses which hang squarely from the shoulders. Apart from a few fitted shift dresses, pieced together from fabric reminiscent of laundry bags, the range is loose, unstructured, plain and pale. Key colours include pastel yellow, soft blue tartan and delicate pink, but overall the collection is completely white washed. A highlight of Piras' collection is an egg-shell dress which features graphic block prints in red, black and camel around the shoulders.
