Using lemons, turquoise, corals, white and a stormy black, an English summer is imminent in Dai Rees' elegant and feminine collection. Fifties style evening dresses and skirts, painted or embroidered with sprig prints, flare from the waist with white tulle petticoats jutting below hems. Trousers for daywear are high waisted and Capri style or gently flare and worn with little fitted jackets or blouses with a pin-tuck detail at the shoulders. Shirt dresses with thigh high splits at the front and pencil skirts with box pleats give a slim but un-restrictive silhouette. Rees' head dresses are equally colourful and delicate with feathers and quills constructed into cages and Pagoda-style hats.
