Clements Ribeiro's collection borrows from a past that spans Ancient Rome and Greece to the 1980s. There's even a touch of Elizabethan Britain with Tudor tapestry print doublets, blouses and skinny trousers. Meanwhile boxy biker-jacket suits, double-breasted jackets and drainpipes teamed with ultra high heels are pure 80s. Striped one-shoulder tops, string vests and shoulder pads also feature heavily. Amongst the strongest pieces are the dresses and tops inspired by classical Rome and Greece - all soft cascading drapes and folds, asymmetric lines and voluminous sleeves. The oversized eyelet hole trousers, skirts, tops and belts, which are part punk, part gladiator, also work well.
