Song & Kelly

This is Singapore-based Wykidd Song and Ann Kelly's first London Fashion Week show. Entitled 'Wholeness', the collection attempts to avoid obvious trends and instead focuses on harmonic dressing. Using natural fibres (cotton, silk and wool) and long, clean silhouttes, the clothes convey modern sense of Zen. Nothing is superfluous- functionality and form are key. Highlights include a draped organza sleeveless dress, hipster 3/4 length trousers with a matching vest top and a housecoat dress. The colour palette is earthy and calm with coal black, biscuit beige, cornflower blue and dashes of burnt orange. Song & Kelly's millennial look is intelligently understated and quietly powerful.
