Mulligan

On a catwalk marked out with pink cushions, Tracy Mulligan presented a simplistic summer collection for girls and boys. The aptly named 'Peaceful Prosperity and Harmony', consisted of unfussy garments in a sugared almond palette of colours. It seems for Mulligan the essence of the collection is in the subtle detailing; covered button and zip stands, wide un-cuffed sleeves and clean uncluttered and easy to wear lines. The macs with their leg-o-mutton sleeves and rounded collars looked very 50s whilst shapeless smocks with bold circular prints gathered inspiration from the 60s.The highlight had to be the funnel-neck zipped waistcoat with matching calf length panelled skirt, both in the softest pink leather. Wide printed head bands controlled heavily crimped hair and nicely finished off the 'pretty in pink' styling.
