Joe Caseley-Hayford

This wearable yet experimental collection from Caseley-Hayford plays with streety silhouettes and features drawstring trousers, biker jackets, tank tops, and practical overcoats. Luxurious fabrics are key with gold leaf-style prints, brocades, heavy cotton drill, leather and suede appearing. All have twisted elements to make them different such as capped, shaped and smocked sleeves and caped collars. The colour palette is subdued and focuses on beige, khaki, sandy gold and cream while detailing including pouches, leather drawstrings, heavy boots and brown scorched-effect prints, lean towards a distinctive but original safari look. The intelligent cutting techniques transformed basic garments into original concepts, giving the illusion of wrapped fabrics and box shape shoulders.
