The first British design duo of eclectic fashion, once again produced a formidable show for s/s 2000 with their signature colourful stripey cashmere knitwear which for the first time appeared on guys as well as girls. Womenswear focused on flouncy details such as frills, pompoms and tassels. Billowing chocolate frilled shirts floated down the catwalk, as did handkerchief asymmetric skirts, hovering at the new mid-calf length. Colours were both rich and bright for summer - from jade green to cherry red. Tailoring made a sleek appearance with irridescent flat-front short fitted jackets and both slim and wide leg pants. Multi-coloured sequin trims and applique patterns on knitwear and skirts added understated glamour to a fun flirty collection.
