Amanda Wakeley

Fresh, young and strong. Amanda Wakeley used geometric shapes injected with vibrant colours to create a no-frills approach to her spring/summer collection. Tunic dresses, rope-plait vests, and squashed tight tops reflected a 'Greek Goddess' inspiration as the models marched through a catwalk maze. Key shades of saffron and magenta livened up outfits of oatmeal or white with the occasional splash of diagonal red stitching. Skirt hems varied from cheeky to calf length whilst neck lines were both high and low but still very straight. Thick silver bands were locked around arms and waists to complement the theme which was softened with the odd appearance of chiffon neck ties. Models eyes were heavily lined in black onto a nude face to resemble Cleopatra and hair was knotted into a single side bunch.
