    Philip Treacy

Philip Treacy, top Irish milliner, has once again transformed hats in to an art form. This spectacular collection is full to the brim with colour, imagination, glitz and glamour. The shapes bear Treacy's signature style of streamlined silhouettes, yet all have mad dashes of individual inspiration. The hat forms tower precariously and some seem to bear resemblance to wild coral and exotic sea creatures. The shapes curve, wind and explode into star-bursts and snake-like tips. Feathers are used and are either windswept or fanned. More traditional trilby's are finished with wire spirals and eyes are concealed with black netting. The clothes set-off the wacky creations with hot pinks and fitted glittery dress-coats. This is a truly stunning collection that makes millinery seem like magic.
