After one-and-a-half hours of waiting, with the hounds from the photographer's pit beginning to literally bark with impatience, celebrity milliner Philip Treacy revealed his latest creations to a star-packed audience. Belinda Carlisle, Natalie Imbruglia and The Princess Michael of Kent were present along with fashion master Alexander McQueen and stylist/muse Isabella Blow. She sported a smear of lipstick large enough for three mouths and a hat the size of a small coffee table. Models including Jodie Kidd and Honor Fraser strutted the catwalk balancing crystals, miniature lasers and arrays of antique goose feathers on their heads. Creations of devil horns and hummingbirds provided a theatrical twist to a brilliant show. In the end, all good things did come to those who waited.
