Julien Macdonald
Was he real? The appearance of a Michael Jackson look-a-like created total mayhem amongst the embroidered blossoms and autumn leaves of Julien Macdonald's new collection. Flowers, tassles and coloured feathers finally drew the attention of the crowd away from the pseudo-celeb and back to the main event which glittered with all the brightness of a pink and purple rainbow. In keeping with Julien's romantically themed collections, the catwalk was littered with leaves, fairy dust and covered in moss green fake grass. Magnificent knitwear creations in loosely spun mohair mixed with feather trimming and the odd embroidered slip made for a stunning collection. Short, clingy, sensual and full of texture and colour, Julien Macdonald deserves all the hype he musters.
