Vintage denim - denim this season is dark with tight fitting jackets and turn-ups on jeans as spotted at Michiko Koshino and Red or Dead.

Sheepskin - the early 80s was awash with sheepskin coats, now they're back and looking far groovier! Faux sheepskin printed with Thai gods jackets spotted at Flynow by Chamnan, and tan sheepskin coats seen at the Lezley George show.

Kilts/apron skirts over trousers - this punk look is back. Seen at People Corporation, Red or Dead and Copperwheat Blundell.

Tweeds and pinstripes - new takes on classic looks seen at Copperwheat Blundell, Owen Gaster and Red or Dead.

Boob Tubes - disco fever gets a revival. As seen at Paul Frith, Michiko Koshino, and Copperwheat Blundell.

Cowboy - there are several interpretations of this theme from black leather chaps at the St Martin's MA show, to Michiko Koshino's faux pony skin trousers.

Mod Revival - with the slim sihoutte and pork pie hats in abundance, there is a definite Mod mood brewing in fashion. Spotted at Red or Dead, Copperwheat Blundell and Paul Frith.

Fairy Queen/Celtic Goddess - the strong feminity which marked the spring/summer collections carries into autumn/winter. Significant elements includes layering, chiffon and organza Empire line dresses with medieval sleeves . As seen at Abe Hamilton, Maria Grachvogel and Red or Dead.
