Abe Hamilton
A room in the salubrious Royal Albert Hall was the venue for Abe Hamilton's show. The collection focused on feminine daywear and eveningwear with gentle fabrics, soft layering and slim silhouettes. Long silk tulle jackets and dresses appeared alongside transparent chiffon and orangza dresses with criss-crossed laces at the bust and plunging necklines. Shades of pink, purple, blue and grey dominanted and a few pieces in this season's most popular colours, gold and black. Rich hues of anthracite, metallic blue and silver were used for dresses and coats. The collection's essential elements include Maid Marian organza and chiffon dresses, silk jackets and pencil skirts. There was none of the vintage denim, leather or sheepskin which have popular throughout the week, but Hamilton's collection offers feminine, wearable and desirable clothes in gorgeous colours.
