With an audience starring Robbie Williams and Princess Anne, the Copperwheat Blundell show got off to a very late but excited start. When the lights finally dimmed and the drum and bass set in, the crowd was vibed-up enough to give birth. Lee Copperwheat and partner Pamela Blundell's spring/summer collection was widely praised and this collection smacked of confidence. The womenswear is super sexy bordering on tarty with v-shaped revealing necklines, transparent tops, skin-tight pencil skirts, tassled mini skirts and trousers worn with baby stetson hats. For the guys there's fluffy suits in electric blue and bold red, psychedelic printed tops, wax trousers with leg-length zippers and fisherman hats. Fleece jackets feature wide collars and zipped pockets. As well as cowboy influences, the Mod revival continued with two-tone suits for women featuring hipster pants. Blue pinstriped suits with parallel trousers for women appeared alongside a black knee-length macintosh. Other highlights included boob tubes, straight dresses worn over trousers, maxi coats and cropped bodywarmers with furry trims.
