House of Jazz presents Leipatra, a winter collection inspired by two film icons, Liz Taylor's Cleopatra and Carrie Fisher's Princess Leia. The dominant colours are black and white broken up with pink/brown prints. This is a focused collection of 12 outfits and House of Jazz bags from their recently-launched Pablo's. Among the more casual outfits there is a thigh-length printed tunic dress with a plunging neckline and loose, tie-belted waist worn with wader boots and a sleeveless printed top teamed with slouchy trousers cut above the ankle with loose straps. Beautiful brown suede swing coats with leather trim also impress. Dresses include sexy, gladitator-esque cocktail dresses accessorised with wooden wedge shoes and a dramatic, full-length kimono-style robe with open spilt sleeves, obi-belted waist and layered front panels. This season, House of Jazz has worked real fur into the collection and created a white jacket belted at the waist. One of the strongest pieces is a white cape with black edging and an incredible deep hood, it's both spacey and stylish.
