For autumn/winter 2002 Koshino offers three distinct ranges. Yen Jeans is a denim collection which features original Japanese denim reworked into modern workwear. For autumn she's created severely faded jeans, slouchy tops, with oversized pocket details and floor sweeping deconstructed denim skirts.
The 100's collection incorporates pieces of vintage military uniforms and reworks them into new garments. The result is stunning, structured outfits: long lean silhouettes, belted military coats and dresses mainly in black with touches of camel and navy. Details include leather edging, belts, capes and throws across shoulders. Models carried bags which look like they are made from rolled-up yoga mats tied with leather belts.
