It looks as if Scott Henshall has been reading lots of puzzle magazines recently, if his winter 01 collection is anything to go by. To the back drop of a giant word search puzzle, models including Henshall's pal and stockist Lady Victoria Hervey, pounded the catwalk in slick urban creations and incredibly shiny boots. The strongest and most inspired pieces come in an original and witty black and white crossword pattern. Meanwhile coats and suits in a word search pattern don't work as well - from a distance at least. The puzzle and clues theme is taken further with references to spies and espionage, with slim suits complete with cut-away shoulders, slouchy shawl-collared waistcoats and trench coat detailing - Secret Squirrel macs are wisely avoided. Another element that works well are slashed sleeves with buttons, whilst sequined minis, and bra tops, which look tarty but not raunchy, are less successful.
