Markus Lupfer has created a powerful, vibrant and futuristic collection for winter 2001. Entitled Reality Check, the collection is intended to showcase Lupfer's use of knit and features logo-ed cashmere, chunky knitwear and honeycombed pieces. The colour palette wacks up the visual volume with uncompromising canary yellow and unadulterated bright red. There are slinky trousers, single breasted jackets, full skirts and drop waist dresses. Leather jackets and dresses appear laser cut and luxuriant while Lupfer's Pucci-esque prints in silk add trash glamour. Lara Bohinc's extra wide perspex belts work perfectly with Lupfer's full skirts and his pleated shirts are feminine and fabulously sexy.
