Hamish Morrow's off-schedule collection, entitled The Life Cycle of an Idea, is a 'floral analogy' which aims to reflect the impact of consumerism and the fragility of the 'new against the voracious appetite of the industry'. Essentially, the result of such a theme is a capsule range which flourishes from bare and black into bright and bold - and then back again. Scrunched ruffles of fabric add flamboyance to fitted ladies' jackets whilst asymmetrical hemlines give a touch of 80s glamour to skirts in the collection. Black lace is dominant throughout the range which is livened up with streaks of almost fluorescent pink.
