Called Night Porter, Anthony Symonds' collection is a blend of Grace Jones-style androgyny, slim fit cocktail shifts, knickerbockers, culottes and clown and military inspired details. A subdued palette of navy, grey and black is highlighted with red, cherry and electric blue. For some masculine glamour, mannish suits are either made up in mismatched pin stripes, grey suiting with tracksuit style trousers or piped with a contrasting colour. Large ruffle neck frills decorate coats, dresses and shirts and waterfall frills run the length of lace and plain V-neck evening shifts. Tops with one shoulder frill or one shouldered clingy wool dresses kickstart the asymmetry theme.
