Although it has a risque title, Prostitution? is easily Arkadius' most commercially acceptable collection to date. Minimalist architect Le Corbusier, famed for his love of tremendously tall buildings, is cited as the inspiration behind the range which follows the late creative's sense of design discipline - function over form. The colour scheme of the range - a mixture of blues, black, red, gold and ecru - is also credited as being based on paintings by Le Corbusier. However, in true Arkadius style, the second half of the collection seems to have a hotter theme of sex workers and outfits include eccentric frocks and ravaged knits. Silhouettes range from sharply tailored skyscraper skirts to sloppy ghetto fabulous coats in faux leopard print and half-cut suits. Fabrics featured include cashmere, wool and cotton blended with more exuberant materials such as fox fur, leather and muskrat.
