St Martin's graduate Sophia Kokosalaki showed her debut Fashion Week collection at the Hellenic Centre. Lit by huge white light balloons, the collection offers goth, punk and peasant looks. A cream leather knee-length skirt with a front frill pocket and beautifully cut leather trousers demonstrated Sophia's great skill with this fabric. Models wore headbands, scarves and furs over one shoulder. Punk references include mohair dresses, jumpers and threadbare skirts as well as belt fastenings on a plain white shirt. A series of black outfits (leather trousers, dresses and pleated skirts) grooved goth style. Peasant offerings include sheepskin and suede tabards, headscarves and a wispy white chiffon dress that any flower fairy would cherish. Floor sweeping felt and wool coats show the strength of Sophia's tailoring.
