The theme behind the Shelley Fox collection could literally be described as 'old school' as the designer seems to have taken inspiration from aging assembly rooms or church dance halls. A mousey mix of mahogany brown, burnt orange and synthetic blue make up the main colour palette of the range which features modern shift dresses with panels of pleats and circles. Beautifully tailored knee length breeches, soft fitting shirts and mid calf skirts are also included in the collection crafted from velvet, heavy cotton and tanned leather. Faded orange floral prints, blouses embroidered in gold, sensible shoes and scruffy ruffles enforce the crusty look of the garments that reek of PTA meetings and charity shops.
