The restaurant at Saint Martin's Lane hotel was the venue for Marcus Lupfer's third Fashion Week show. Entitled 'Proper Little Madam', the collection is an unashamed homage to the 80s. Shirt dresses, tie-belted long sleeved tops, sleeveless cashmere knitted tops and A-line skirts are all classics of two decades ago when Debbie Harry was queen of cool and 'Dynasty' and 'Dallas' were fashion statements. Digital graphic prints appear on skirts, dresses and blouses (yes, blouses not shirts) in a vibrant blue. Outerwear includes a dog-tooth check coat with leather epaulettes and a classic cream raincoat.
