Fireworks, sparklers and Catherine wheels light up Clements Ribeiro's next winter collection. Bursting all over coats, dresses, skirts and blouses, they swirl in shimmering sequins. The collection, in colours ranging from muted - camel, brown and nude - to vibrant - yellow, aquamarine and mint - is pretty, pretty, pretty and elegant. Chiffon blouses have floppy, pussy-bow neckties or pie crust frills on necklines and shoulders. Swing back coats, belted coats (both in wool and felt) and 50s style nipped-in waist tailored skirt suits (in purple print tartan) add to the mix, all with puffy sleeves caught at the wrist. Signature knits are in rainbow-striped lurex and glitter is scattered, child-like, over marble print floaty chiffon dresses flaring at the knee (worn over felt dresses). Some 'mumsy' tailoring - wool tie front jackets and elbow length sleeve jackets counteract the colour buzz.
